A professional women’s vocal ensemble, Esquisses focuses on repertoire from the 19th to the 21st centuries, with a particular affinity for French music. Research into repertoire and the rediscovery of overlooked gems are central to the artistic vision of Guillemette Daboval.
With a strong interest in contemporary music, the ensemble is committed to promoting the work of today’s French composers, both women and men.
Their debut album, Par un matin, released in September 2023 on the Evidence label, has already been widely acclaimed by the press (Télérama, Classica, Qobuz).
